Acupuncture…

where should we begin?

Acupuncture is a safe, evidence-informed therapy that has been practiced for over 2,000 years. Originating in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it involves inserting very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to help reduce pain, regulate the nervous system, improve circulation, and support the body's natural healing processes.

What to Expect:

Your first visit includes a health history review, assessment, and personalized treatment plan. During treatment, thin, single-use needles are gently inserted and typically remain in place for 15–30 minutes while you relax. Depending on your needs, your practitioner may also recommend therapies such as cupping, electroacupuncture, moxibustion, or gua sha.

Does It Hurt?

Most patients experience little to no discomfort. You may feel a mild ache, heaviness, warmth, or tingling around the needle, followed by a deep sense of relaxation. Mild soreness or bruising can occasionally occur but usually resolves quickly.
